Oatflakes Cookies

Mellow Oatflakes Cookies with Chocolate Chips


Ingredients:


150g Oatflakes, small flakes

100g ground Nut's

50g Spelled Flour

60g brown Sugar

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon ground Cinnamon

1/4 Teaspoon ground Vanilla

1 pinch of Salt

100g Applesauce

100g Almond Butter

100ml plant-based Milk

50g chopped dark Chocolate (vegan)



Preparation:


Put the oat flakes together with the ground nuts (I used walnuts here), the spelled flour and the sugar in a bowl and mix. Then add baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla and salt and mix again.

Now add the applesauce, almond butter and plant milk to the dry ingredients and work the whole thing into a creamy dough. Finally stir in the chopped chocolate.




Now use an ice cream scoop to spread the dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.


Bake in the preheated oven either at

180°C top and bottom heat or

160°C circulating air.


The baking time is approx. 20 minutes.
